Project PARALIES had the honor to participate in the 9th Our Ocean Conference “Our Ocean Conference 2024″ which took place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on April 15-17, 2024.
On April 17th project PARALIES organized a Side Event in which its scope and goals as well as the results of the last 3 years of its implementation were presented. In addition, representatives from adoption partners (EYDAP SA) as well as representatives fromm the Schinias National Park Management Agency presented their own experience from the implementation of the project PARALIES. The Side Event was moderated with great success by Mr. Christos Ioakeimidis, QSR Program Management Officer, UNEP/MAP.

Announcement of project PARALIES’ Commitments
The Side Event of project PARALIES was honored with the presence of General Secretary of the Ministry of Environment & Energy, Mr. Petros Varelidis, representatives from the Ministries of Environment & Energy and Foreign Affairs, representatives from the private sector, as well as representatives from environmental protection agencies and organizations.
On the sidelines of the 9th International Conference on Oceans, the project managers of project PARALIES had the opportunity to discuss and make important contacts about the implementation of the project to date as well as the prospects for its future expansion.
