How to participate in project PARALIES

The project PARALIES initiative involves companies that share the same environmental concerns with us and wish to substantially contribute towards the direction of natural environment’s protection and remediation, through their active participation in actions that result to a positive environmental footprint.

We dream of a marine and coastal ecosystem free of waste and for this purpose we join our forces.

Through the project PARALIES initiative, our effort acquires the most important allies.

Your company can also participate in the project PARALIES by adopting a beach. We will be happy to hear you.

The work carried out on each beach includes both manual cleaning as well as the collection and management of waste from the separate collection bins placed in specific parts of the beaches, easily accessible by bathers.

    Carbon gain

Using as data the quantities of waste collected during the implementation of project PARALIES (3 years x 3 months = 9 months) the carbon gain derived from the recycling of these quantities was calculated which amounted to 33.1 tn CO2e which corresponds to carbon gain derived annually from a forest of 8.27 hectares (12,000-20,000 trees depending on the forest density).
